Doni Suffering/Offering

Doni Earth Mother figure in a suffering/offering pose. Inspired by the ancient Earth Mother figures found throughout Europe. She symbolises fertility, abundance, protection and reverence for our great Earth Mother Papatuanuku/Gaia/Pachamama. She also comments on the suffering of the Earth at the hands of humans and conversely the gifts that she has to offer. Approx 15cm tall. By New Zealand artist Charlene Scott.
